Tucson MLS Statistics March 2014

The month of March looks so much better and getting back to where we were in October of 2013. A very large jump in Listings under Contract and Total Units Sold.

I have a feeling that we may start to see better Sales, which may be because the Economy is finally getting a foothold, and we should see much better results in the 2nd through the 4th quarter of this year. We are not out of the woods per sa, but it looks like we may see a growing Economy soon.
If the President finally signs off on the Keystone pipeline, it will put a bunch of people to work, and when the oil starts to flow, it will bring more permanent jobs for that area of fuel production. Wouldn’t it be nice to know we do not have to depend on OPEC for so much of our fuel? Could even push down prices in the states. Just think of the pay raise everyone could  get with lower costs at the pump. That is real money that can be spent in our stores.
Interest rates are just under 4.5% right now but I still expect they will start to go up in the next six months unless the Economy stays flat.
